• Take your time to come up with a creative idea for hair using a variety of types of lines (remember all the kinds of lines we talked about in class).
• The hair should come from an interesting face about the size of your hand.
• Make sure you use interesting repeated patterns between your lines.
• Use lots of detail.
• Work in light pencil first, then go over your design with a black sharpie.
• Make your lines dark, neat, and crisp.
• Erase any pencil lines that remain.
• Once you are finished, select one small item in your drawing to be red.
• Make sure your work is creative and aesthetically pleasing (balanced, with good use of the whole page, etc.).
• Always do your best work!
